AUTUMNAL EQUINOX AT STONEHENGE 2007
  Saturday 22nd Night to Sunday 23rd September Morning, 2007

The Autumnal Equinox was a lovely one which for us started on the evening of Saturday 23rd September in the droveway. It was the first time Steve Smyth has stopped over night and we all spent an enjoyable time with friends old and new around Merlin's Campfire, with Mark circulating a beautiful pottery 'Horn' of Mead to ward off the night chills.

The weather turned misty as the evening turned to night and the campfire was very much welcomed as was the mead! :-) Steve Smyth has captured the atmosphere with the photographs he took that evening :-)

The Ceremony for the Sunrise was performed by Rollo Maughfling (Arch Druid for Stonehenge) and Victoria Marsden (Hon. Arch Druidess of the Glastonbury Order of Druids) and as usual they did us proud. As well as the usual drums, there was music played on a traditional African instrument which can be seen in our coverage and Steve Smyth's photos.

In addition to supplying the Photo Gallery Steve Smyth also recorded the event using his 'dead cat on a stick' mike and his digitally cleaned Fabulously Stereo recording has been used for the videos and we think you'll agree how the Soundtrack really does give you as a close a feeling of Being There, as is possible without actually being there!
